Sixth Talk: A Thousand Waves

There won’t just be one.

There will be a hundred frustrations before noon. A thousand before the day is done. Big ones, small ones, ones that barely register and ones that threaten to pull you under.

Don’t fight them. Don’t take each one as proof that something is wrong.

This is life. This is the ocean you’re swimming in. The waves will keep coming, but you don’t have to sink.

So let them roll in. Let them break. Let them pass.

Breathe. Loosen your grip. Adjust where you need to, then keep moving.

You can handle this—not because the waves stop, but because you stop fearing them.
